Blood thinners or aspirin may affect your tattoo during the tattooing process and during the time your fresh tattoo is healing. This is due to the fact that blood thinners decrease your blood’s ability to clot efficiently. Given these facts, your tattoo may require one or multiple touch-ups in order for your body to let it heal properly.

Before considering getting a tattoo with one of our artists,we recommend consulting with your doctor prior to booking an appointment if you are on any type of blood thinner medication. We do not recommend stopping the use of any medication without your doctor’s advice beforehand.

If your doctor has given you the OK to get tattooed while taking blood thinners and if your tattoo requires a touch-up, a fee of $45 +tax may be required upon artist discretion.
