Upon reviewing your tattoo request form, the artist will assess if a consultation is required or not. Most often, consultations are recommended for anyone seeking a custom design, but if you have provided information and reference images that are clear to the artist- they may forgo the consultation process. Consultations generally last 10-30 minutes, and allow you the opportunity to discuss your idea with an artist directly. Currently, to restrict the amount of people in the shop due to Covid-19, most of our artists are doing phone, email, or video call consultations.
Please note that while the actual consultation appointment is free of cost, most of our artists do charge drawing fees if you wish to see the drawing prior to the tattoo appointment, which range from $20-$200 (payable in cash or etransfer directly to the artist) at the time of the consultation. The reason drawing fees are charged is because our artists put a lot of time into designing each piece, and some can even take several days to complete. Your artist will advise you at the the consultation if a drawing fee is required.
